Expanding brand awareness for DuPage County non-profit

Support and awareness of CASA of DuPage County has mostly defaulted to being centered around the county seat — Wheaton. Past Child Abuse Prevention Month campaigns have provided little measurement and required a lot of internal resources to execute. The goal of this social media campaign was to reach communities throughout the county, raise awareness of CASA of DuPage County, and grow their house list by targeting outreach to those who are mostly likely to care about the issue of child abuse.

A generous donor offered a $1 donation for each supporter who signed their online proclamation during the month of April. As a thank you for their signature, supporters were sent a free Strengthening Families guide that Spire2 developed. This free resource deepened engagement, provided practical ideas on how to be a powerful friend to powerless children, and educated recipients about the work of CASA of DuPage County.

(34 out of 39 communities reached).

The campaign enjoyed a great level of engagement through likes, shares, and comments on Facebook posts.

CASA of DuPage County’s email list grew by 25% during the month of April. This unprecented growth paves the way for more effective campaigns, and the guide we developed can be used over the course of the next year to educate the community and invite people to become involved in the organization’s mission.

Overall, the campaign gained exposure to 26,459 people in DuPage County. This exposure was largely focused on those who care about children most.
